The hunting, fishing and wildlife refuges in Southeast Texas are a big part of life. Our community values and appreciates what it means to thousands of guests visiting each year. We are excited to share stories and enjoy everything that it means to be part of the hunting, fishing and outdoor recreational activities we have to offer in our own backyard.
Our team work closely with the Winnie Area Chamber of Commerce understands the importance of recognizing, promoting and sharing what this means to our community and all of our visitors. The weekend of March 6-8, 2018 we will host the inaugural Trevor Lee Memorial Marsh Fest in the Winnie Stowell Community Park.
Memorial Scholarships will be presented to senior students who attend East Chambers High School, Hamshire-Fannett High School and High Island High School.
Calling Contests will feature some of the nation’s top competitors!
